Data collection helps us to learn about the people we serve. The information allows us to promote better practices and coordinate a continuum of care for the more than 22,000 individuals receiving treatment annually.
For almost a decade, the collection of Substance Abuse and Mental Health client specific service and outcome data has remained an enigma to many stakeholders. Analysis of this data in the form of contracted outcome measures with legislated target benchmarks has even fewer stakeholders who fully understand the process. It may therefore be beneficial to summarize this collection, processing, reporting and analysis arterial flow at the Macro (Database Interface), Mezzo (Provider Data Submission) and Micro (Client Service and Outcome Data Flow) levels.
