Our mission is to empower individuals who need care for drug addiction, alcohol abuse or mental health problems in order to lead healthier lives. By doing so, we help lower taxpayer costs for healthcare and law enforcement and other community services.

What does the South Florida Behavioral Health Network do?
As the area administrator of public funding for mental health and substance abuse services, we ensure that members of society eligible for public services receive treatment quickly and avoid the bureaucratic maze.
How does the Network do this?
We allocate public funds to the subcontracted agency in our network that will provide treatment and prevention services for the individual. It monitors the agency to ensure the needs of each individual are met, from prevention to treatment to recovery.
